Recently we were approached by a new client to provide them with a new bespoke transom fendering solution for the start of their season. They had used their solid core foam fenders for several seasons, whilst effective in providing protection, the crew had difficulties in storage, handling and installation, especially during guest trips.

Once our client had agreed on the specification and the connection locations, they provided us with a detailed pencil sketch. This sketch included crucial information about their deck socket positions and location of their swim ladder, enabling us to proceed with manufacturing without multiple site visits.
For a solid core foam setup, we would have required several visits to the yacht to create a template, increasing both the project cost and timeline.
